SELF REFLECTION

Sometimes the hardest journey is not between places, but between versions of yourself.

Between Two Worlds

Sometimes the hardest journey is not between places, but between versions of yourself.

I am my grandmother's granddaughter and my daughter's mother. I carry forward ancient songs while learning new technologies. I honor tradition while questioning conventions. Living between worlds means never quite belonging fully to either.

In my grandmother's world, a woman's worth was measured by her ability to keep a family fed and a house running smoothly. In my daughter's world, worth is measured by professional achievements and personal fulfillment. I straddle both, trying to honor each.
